We offer Full (8hr) & Half (4hr) day tours every week during the 2023 Dig Season which runs June to September. There are also Night (4hr) tours available where the fossils are easier to identify. We are able to accommodate any size party!

All packages start with a safety meeting at our facility in Kemmerer before we move onto supervised dig instruction and identification of specimens. With your fresh catch, you’ll have an opportunity for some hands on practice revealing your fossils back in our lab.

Guests have the option to use our lab facilities on-site for additional preparation of their fossil finds. Our staff is otherwise equipped to expertly prepare and ship your pieces to you.

Rates for tours are dependent upon layers dug and tour length:

• Aesionops: Priced on Request

• Upper Splits: $75/hr

• Gastropods: $150/hr

• Mini-Fish: $75/hr

• 18” Layer: $200/hr

• Sandwich: $75/hr

Everyone wants to know what you get to keep! You can keep all of the fish you catch, including Stingray, except:

• Amia

• Gar

• Paddlefish

• Unknown Species

You also keep all plants and insect fossils. All other fossils are the property of Fossil Fish Adventures.
